The Arkansas Corn and Grain Sorghum Board has worked since its inception in 1997 to develop a viable research program divided between the two commodities based upon the percentage of the check-off collected from each. The Board met on March 5, 2007 to review proposals for research and promotion programs to be conducted during the crop year. The Board approved research projects with the University of Arkansas totaling $278,975, and allocated $22,000
for agricultural promotion projects. All projects funded are listed below, along with the actual amount at which each is funded:
